J.C. Edwards & Son, Inc. was founded by Jerry Edwards in 1947. His son, Bob Edwards, set up the store front on Adams Street in 1967. Bob Edwards sold the company in 1991 to Diane Jones, who is currently the President and Owner.

J.C. Edwards & Son was known to many of the Central Illinois businesses as the "little shop on Adams." Truck drivers would often stop in to purchase hand trucks and pallet jacks. Bob Edwards had a reputation of always being ready to help them out in a jam. Often, complete casters were disassembled in order to get the needed wheel or rigging. If you had an old component and couldn't find a match, customers always called Bob before giving up hope of finding one.

The company continued to grow and expand on it's basic product line of hand trucks, carts, casters and shipping room products. Our full line now boasts a complete line of Carton Identification, Material Handling, Production Control and Shipping Room Equipment. In 1992, J.C. Edwards & Son, Inc. expanded it's physical facilities and moved to it's current location of 1925 W. Altorfer, Pioneer Park, Peoria, Illinois.
